If you opened a restaurant, what kind of food would you serve?/ What kind of theme?

I would open a diner, and serve burgers and milkshakes. My diner would have a jukebox, soda jerk, and gals and guys on rollerskates delivering orders to customers in the parking lot.

I would also have theme nights: car show, drag queens, and open mic poetry.

Iā€™ve thought about three things. 1. seafood restaurant 2. soup and salad 3. smoothie bar.

no themes really just good healthy food. when I was thinking of the smoothie place I thought I would call it smoothie kingā€¦with the sloganā€¦ā€œthatā€™s smoothā€ but turns out there is already a smoothie king. great minds think alike I guess.

maybe I could call the place the smoothie barn instead

We have a restaurant here called Quaker Steak and Lube that has a car/ gas station theme that serves burgers, steaks and hot wings.

Iā€™d do ethiopian theme.
There is no water and
the customers have to cook their own rice ,
of which there is not nearly enough.

also the restaurant is just a big tent.

Ethiopian food you eat with your hands itā€™s served on teff injera (a type of flat bread) and you use the bread you rip it off to scoop up their salad or chicken or beef or vegetables or lentils or something and itā€™s delicious :yum:. Iā€™ve had it twice when I went to Boston and once near where I live.

A pirate theme. Plenty of mutton, ale, and rum. And fresh oranges served daily to prevent scurvy. The waitresses would be wenches though Iā€™m not quite sure what exactly wenches are. Yo, ho, ho.

I want to have one called El Buffet del Diablo. Themed after Danteā€™s Divine Comedy. All foods will be spicy as ___. Fantasy, will never be reality.
