Do you still get social security at 65?
I want to know if I quit my job and start taking disability will I still get my social security that I’ve paid into it.
I’ve heard disability is $700. I don’t think I could live on that at retirement. Maybe I could make do with it now if other people are helping me.
The amount you get depends on how much you’ve worked and how much you’ve paid into the system.
If you don’t have any money your best bet would be to get in a state sponsored group home. JMO

When you are 65 ssdi transfers to social security which is about the same amount.
