boats are plenty and boat mechanics are few around here. but i have no desire to work on boats. dad suggested it to me when he needed his boat worked on. only one boat mechanic in town. but there are 50 to 100 boats on the water on the weekend during boating season in our little town.
You don’t need a degree?
well apprenticeship or trade school. i would probably need to go trade somewhere if i wanted to do it. actually i did some research, and it only pays about 40k.
but it would be steady work close to the water somewhere.
Weird I just thought boats didn’t have anything but the propeller to be worked on
Small engine mechanics are always in demand. Here boat and people who do mowers etc do very well. Everyone needs to cut grass and boating is popular on the coasts where most of our population is.
