What’s your idea?
Was curious about adding an off shoot for people who have died, with we known them in life or online. My friend’s old forum had that and I was thinking about my friend from the internet who died about this time last year. Would be a good way to let their memories live on and grieve with our fellow forum friends.
I know people have posted that their loved one has died on lounge threads, but I think a category for passing would be nice since it would seem like a memorial wall.

I think that’s a good idea. Maybe setup a poll?
I would but I remember the last time this happened, with the splitting of the diagnoses section, they were very much against making a poll. If someone else wants to, they can go ahead.

I voted Yes as I recently lost my grandad and I still feel no emotion about it and no idea whether it was the pills or the illness. I would have posted in a section like this.

I had my friend die almost 1 year ago. My grandma’s cousin died a few months ago. And now my cousin’s grandfather died one week ago today. Death is all around me.

The poll is Ok as a way to start a discussion… but generally we are very reluctant to increase the numbers of categories as it has already gotten confusing for people and we try to keep things simple around here.

Death is a trigger for many ppl, maybe that would be a reason to proceed with caution.

I’m not a fan. I respect the idea of recognizing those who’ve gone before but when you lose too many to self defeat I think that can be a burden on the boards. You have to be conscious of copy cat behavior and I respect your opinion…I just don’t think it’s necessary or appropriate.

A category completely dedicated to cute animals. Pictures, videos, famous animals, your animals, a cute animal you saw on a walk, a cute animal you’ve always wanted, animal memes, cute animals in general.
