Like I believe Alien and Sarah are spirits in my head and that my mother in law will try to harm me, does that mean I am continuously psychotic?
Like one of the diagnostic criterias for sza is psychotic symptoms for at least two weeks without mania or depression. Does that include my delusions? Or is it hearing voices too?
Over a two week period or more, I only heard voices a few times for ten minutes or so, but my unusual beliefs are continously there.
Are you on meds? What does your doc say ?
I’ve had delusions from the onset to today. 9+ years, so ya. Its not delusional syndrome because most of mine are bizarre.
Yes I’m on meds. My pdoc says it’s part of my illness but didn’t talk about increasing my meds - only when I’m hypomanic or depressed or hearing voices.
My pdoc is the same. He says my thoughts are residual symptoms. he don’t want to increase meds.
