It says " Subscribe to The Atlantic and support 160 years of independent journalism". I hope this self-description by The Atlantic is true.

The Atlantic is has a good track record of reliability according to some fact checking sites.

Let’s not discuss whether it is a Republican or Democrat leaning paper.

I have very little experience with The Atlantic. But now I’m intrigued so will take a looksee.

If you’re talking about the magazine I’m thinking of, no, they are not in any way Republican. They’re more centrist Democratic. They are a very prestigious magazine.
