I'd like recover or improve in a slow subtle way

don’t really get why people want to rush things. I guess I’m not a believe in drastic change. . It isn’t realistic to improve fast. People will spot phoney rushed improvement

That’s how I am with my workout. They asked if I had a time frame in mind and I was like no…whatever is healthy! I wasn’t in any rush.

I think with mental health people also tend to get impatient and then when they don’t see immediate results despair, but in reality stability is totally achievable it just takes a good deal of time and trial and error.

I’d like to be a 100% cured this minute with no residual, lasting effects.

But you’re right.

A good way to improve slowly and subtly is with therapy. Day treatment has been a big help to me.

I agree, the more you rush, the more stuck you feel. Calmly, gently, and naturally is the way I choose to grow, though sometimes get too caught up trying to get through it, usually starts when things get slightly overwhelming, it’s a lesson I come back to over and over again in my recovery.
