Iced drinks

I don’t know why but I can’t stand hot drinks, like coffee and tea. I would still drink them but have to chug ice water after. Not sure why they bother me. But I started making my own iced coffee drinks so I can still enjoy coffee in the morning without it bothering my mouth

What kind of climate do you live in Owl?

I love coffee. I have drunk 2 mugs of double strength everyday for like the last 9 years or so lol. (My poor teeth!)
I think a lot of instant coffee is terrible and taste gross. Theres a posh brand that is good (Douwe and Egberts) but all the nescafe branded tastes bad to me. I also don’t like black tea (regular tea) - too bitter - but other teas are nice.

Iced coffee is nice too. Never made any myself but my friend has made some for me in peak of summer a couple of times. I bought a nice readymade cup of iced coffee recently that has chocolate in it too, but I worry there are tonnes of sugars in it lol.

I live where it’s hot, we get some cold and snow in like January and February but mostly it’s either really hot or just kind of hot lol

I managed to drink water instead of too much coffee. In summer I make myself iced coffee as well. The instant coffee is great for that, it dissolves in cold water although.

Maybe thats why you don’t like hot drinks tbh. In England its almost always fairly grey and miserable. That’s why we are obsessed with tea lol.

It makes my mouth feel weird to drink hot things. Also I can’t drink room temperature water even. It has to be cold

I like cold drinks to be ice cold too. And I can handle warm drinks but not hot. I order my mochas kid’s temperature or iced.

i dont like iced drinks particularly but i cant drink hot coffee or tea it has to reach room temperature before i can drink it so i usually mix in milk with coffee and cold water with tea if im impatient

The only calories in my mocha iced lattes come from the skim milk. The chocolate flavour comes from Torani sugar free chocolate syrup. It’s about 90 calories per glass, which is reasonable.
