From November 1992-April 1993. I was supposed to obtain record details from patient records. They were old records going back to the 1800’s, handwritten and tied up with ribbons. I read their stories. They weren’t criminals, they were people being abused. Do you think a historian could have gone through those records and written things down? No, they just destroyed it all, probably for the liars, trying to rewrite history and victimize victims. They destroyed the buildings too. Which was a beautiful place. It should have been restored.

The treatment of the mentally ill has really progressed since the eighties, thankfully.

I worked in an asylum too. Being crazy is full time work.
