I wish these voices would stop

Speaking to me in Spanish. Speaking to me at all

That’s interesting is your primary language spanish?

Are you on an AP? That’s the only way I can stop mine. Good luck to you

No. My first language is English. I learned Spanish in high school and college

That’s extremely rare because I heard voices are usually in your primary language. Are you on an antipsychotic?

Yes I’m on clozaril 75 mgs. But I also take Luvox which the dr says increases my clozaril levels.

Has your psychiatrist ever mention a new antipsychotic?

No. I was on zyprexa and geodon. Neither worked. Do you speak Spanish?

No I don’t. 151515

I wish always for my voices to stop, but changing my attitude and the way I percieve them helps me. Try to remain kind to them and yourself if you can

Do not smoke cannabis/THC (Pro-psychotic), do not use cocaine (Pro-psychotic), do not feed the disease but rather starve the disease and give the SGAs time to work with the Mood Stabilizers and SSRIs (Generally what psychiatrists use for SCH and SAD today). I eliminated things that were causing the voices to interfere in my life and now, they do not bother me. I can work as a doctor, I can exercise, lifting more than I ever have before, and I can focus on my hobbies. You CAN do it. You WILL do it. You must make changes and be HONEST with the psychiatrist and psychologist to make these things happen. Also do not smoke cigarettes, get rid of addictions (Porn, nicotine, cocaine, cannabis) get rid of them ONE AT A TIME. Trust me on this. Good luck to you all!

Thanks for the advice

English is my mother tongue, but I’m passable in French and do have some voices in French when I’m stressed.
