and im in fuucking bliss right now…

I’ve been taking a benzo on a daily basis for 33 years. However, I always take the benzo as prescribed, never abuse the med.
Do you think you’ll get addicted (taking more and more to achieve the same affect) to the benzo?
I hope i wont. Ive taken them a few times on and off over the years. I might have abused them when i was 18 but ive matured alot since then.

We spoke about APS, my voices and hallucinations have been pretty bad lately. Havnt really slept in the last 2 days which is why i got the benzo i suppose !!
Im not ruling out not going back on them, ill see !!

I was taking Xanax for about 20 years. The initial dose was small (as expected), half a mg/day. The dose was gradually raised to 4 mg/day. I don’t like Xanax because of its short half life, so you experience rebound anxiety (the med wearing off). Then you have to take another one.
The last 13 years I’ve been taking klonopin. It has a longer half life, so less rebound anxiety. I take 1 and a half mg/day.
