You can do it ️
Fifteen minutes is a good start. When I started running, when I was mid-teens and needed to lose the ‘baby fat’ to try and impress girls, I started at fifteen minutes after some abdominal exercises (To combat the stitch I’d always get running). Eventually, about a month into doing fifteen minute runs everyday, I ramped it up to thirty minutes when I felt like fifteen wasn’t tiring me out. Then two thirty minute runs, then two forty five minute runs, and finally at my best I did two hour-long runs at either end of the day.
I wish I had that kind of energy now.
This is good start, happy for you @TheBest jogging really is enjoyable. It lifts you good spirit and increase your concentration.
What do you expect!? I am too fat to run.
Start with walking and increase the duration & speed every successive session. Make it a routine to exercise daily.
Are you chinese? Do you take an antipsychoitc? I’m only ever going to walk. I’m not trying to be an athlete!
Yes, I’m Chinese. I’m taking Abilify. Walk, jog or run to stay healthy and to maintain fitness. There are few athletes after the age of 40.
The Tokyo Marathon is on on Sunday! Maybe watch it for motivation! Also, disregard what I said earlier about not running at 267, honestly if you feel like running, run. Just be careful on the snow, if you slip you can really injure yourself, then, no more running.
One of the few reasons why I run indoors on a treadmill.
I tried that everyone tells me that…take baby steps and train ur muscles, but the motivation just isnt there thats the problem. I can just about do the walking though
