I wear this tomorrow .... at the wedding

It’s T-R-U-N-K. Not B-O-O-T.

A TRUNK belongs on an elephant. A boot belongs on your FOOT.

That’s a beautiful color on you @anon80629714. You look very pretty. Have fun at the wedding.

How did your mom’s hair turn out? For some reason, I’m envisioning something like this. :joy:

What about a tree trunk?

Haha it’s all good but I need to get her to a salon at least once. It’s not bad though.

The point is , there is no correlation between a trunk and a boot. Trunks belong on trees and elephants and boots are on your foot. What is the correlation ?

I have family outside of Bristol, @anon80629714, and they call the trunk of a car a “boot.”

Just for the sake of argument, how does a boot on a foot relate to something on a car that you put baggage or a spare tire in?

Oh really :stuck_out_tongue: should be called bootie as it’s behind the car body

They even call rollerskating “rollerbooting”.

Really? 15151515

Bootie and boot two different things

It is called a trunk in the U.S. It is called a boot in U.K. because that was the name given to the seat at the back of a horse-drawn coach where the coachman sat, which later became a storage area.

Could be a local thing amongst counties over there.

I’m impressed. I knew all this already.

I thought it was late over there. She’s 4 hours ahead of me!

That’s really pretty @anon80629714. It will look especially nice with your hair straight and maybe teal eyeshadow.

I wonder if it’s an Indian tradition for the Bride to toss the flowers…perhaps Ish will catch them tomorrow.
