She (my masseuse) said I had a very nice, light olive color skin. She herself had an awful lot of bronzer makeup on her face that was very obvious. I could see the demarcation lines. I told her I hated my skin color and wished I was white. She chuckled at that. She said she wished she had my skin color. I told her we all want what we don’t have. I told her I have wavy hair and have always wished it was straight. She said she was the opposite. I laughed. Grass is always greener.

Just today, or every day?
I think masseuses always will say you have nice skin, thats like a hair cutter saying you have nice hair, they make you feel good in the hopes of getting a good tip

From your title it sounds she meant you only have nice skin just today and not all the time.
It’s not half anything just real.
I’ve been going to her for six months now and she always gets a 15% tip from me. She didn’t get a penny more today @lofifunk .

but that’s cool you guys could joke about it, its nice when things like that happen

Its true that services workers say nice things to people to get tips and to get them to come back, but Im sure a masseuse wouldnt want to keep the customer if their skin was unpleasant for various reasons. So I would take the compliment.
