I actually wanted to fail because I thought I’d be sold if I were successful. This is partly due to the fact that I learned about adoption very young and didn’t really understand it. Anyway, it all made me very insecure, not to mention ignorant.

Just because we all have a hard life doesn’t mean it’s not super painful for each individual going through their own personal hells. It’s ok to grieve that loss of peace of mind and the loss of trust and security

Me neither. I was abused as an infant and throughout my life.

I understand it now. I was also afraid I’d be sold for balogna because I chose to be stupid.
