maybe its time to seek a new opportunity.
I feel the same. I am off sick and I am being put under pressure to work
Of course I won’t leave without another job to go to.
It’s exhausting isn’t it. Especially when you don’t enjoy the work.
If you aren’t happy, maybe it’s time for a change.
It’s been about 19 months now I think so.
I need to stop working at the gas station, but yeah, I have to have something else lined up first. That gas station job causes me terrible anxiety, stresses me out, just plain bad for my mental health.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
@anon80629714. It’s good to periodically see what other opportunities are out there. You may find a job opportunity that is a better fit for you, or you may decide that you prefer your current job. Either way, it’s beneficial for you.
I think the problem is the job isn’t challenging enough and the social environment is bitchy…, I want a fresh start
At the moment my only opportunities are cleaning and care and I can barely get that. If you have other opportunities though you have no reason not to.
19 months is a respectable time to be at one job. If you want to quit, you can walk out with your head held high. Or low. Either one. But 19 months is a long time to stick it out at one job.
