It’s not a regular thing but stretches back quite a few years.
Here’s what I wrote in email 10 years ago.
Follwing taken from a forum post of mine ‘Tried going to sleep but these
strange phrases kept popping into my head as though there was someone
inside
my head saying them - ‘bug*er the french’ was one of them and’sit down’
was
another one - this was in a school marmish way as if a student was being
spoken to.
Could not get to sleep and got up around 3 am.’
Someone has mentioned ‘thought insertion’ to me but the definition of
this
states that it involves the belief that other people or forces are
inserting
thoughts into the individuals mind- i definitely do not believe thoughts
are
being planted in my mind.
I can not say it was as if someone was really speaking.These phrases
just
kept popping in and out of my head and were very distinct.
As if they had a three dimensional quality to them that rendered them
different to the normal thoughts going through your head process.
What was so strange was that the phrases came completely out of left
field
and seemed totally unconnected to anything.’
