I wanna quit coffee tomorrow

It’s not helping me in life. Sure, it’s enjoyable while you drink it, but then you get an energy crash and slight anxiety.

I think I just need to be prepared for feeling sub-optimal for some days after quitting.

I will still have my daily coke, which has caffeine, but not nearly as much as coffee.

Do you drink coffee? Have you quit?

I’ve quit before but end up drinking it again within a few months. I have 2 cups in the morning but no more after that.

I quit for about 6 months but now I’m having one teaspoon of instant coffee a day. I want to quit it again as it’s making me feel tired and generally worse. I started drinking coffee again due to real life stress.

It’s addictive too I find.

Switch to green tea. You get caffeine and l theanine which can smooth it out.

I decided to give up caffeine. No more coffee or tea. Instead I replace it with herbal tea or hot chocolate if I want something to sip. Caffeine has always made me unstable. I didn’t even realize it until about 7 years ago. It’s so common in society that the notion it could hurt me didn’t seem real. I feel much better not drinking it.

I drink coffee but in moderation now due to gi issues.

Yes I really like coffee drinks. :smiley: I haven’t quit…… In my opinion I don’t think coffee is unhealthy, as long as you don’t drink a ton of it.

I bought generic instant coffee and it’s good!

I don’t drink coffee at all. It makes me feel anxious and I get insomnia even if I drink it in the morning. I take a cup of green tea :tea: twice a week. I don’t know yet if it helps or not. I need to try some more.
