I’ll spare you some of the details but I have severe bladder pain. During tests, multiple urologists have seen that the whole inside of my bladder is literally the color black. It’s supposed to be pink.
They tried bladder ablation, which is where they burn off the surface with a laser,!because there’s a type of bladder cancer that is flat and covers the surface without masses.
They took biopsies. The biopsies all show that I have severe inflammation in my bladder, the skin in my bladder is thickening and sloughing off into my urine. My urine always shows tons of black stuff in it.
It’s very painful. I can even feel the urine travel from my kidneys via the ureters into the bladder and it’s painful.
My bladder is so distended it can be life threatening believe it or not. Crazy!
Now I’ve got lymph nodes in my abdomen that are larger than a centimeter. That size in that area of the body is considered malignant.
The drs have no idea what’s wrong with me. I’ve been told I need to go to a research hospital like u of m and see a sub specialist in urology. I see a university of Michigan dr next week.
I can identify a bit with this. I have 2 “mystery” ailments. One they suspect is sero negative lupus and the other is blood in my urine. No one seems to be able to find where it is coming from. I’ve have scans and all, nothing.
That is strange. I wonder why you have blood in your urine. Drs like to think they’re gods, but they don’t know everything and they’re not always right
American doctors are usually good so I think you are in good hands. I wish you good luck with your health and hope you get a diagnosis and proper treatment. Do not be discouraged. All the best.
I’m sorry to hear you are struggling. Pumpkin is supposed to be good against bladder infections and other problems with the bladder. Also there is a herb called corn silk that is supposed to be good to heal the bladder. Maybe something to try.
I’m just scared because they’ve tried so many things over the past 3 years, and nothing helped and it continues to get worse. They even tried putting me on antibiotics for 18 months straight! It was crazy. And now I’m immune to that antibiotic.
Im also scared my lymph nodes and brain lesions are related. I’ll be sure to talk to the specialist next week about all my fears. I was handling it ok until they said I need a research hospital r cause no one has ever seen it before and they have no idea how to treat me. And the pain increases with time.
Good luck with everything @CoCo . I’m sorry that you have to be in pain. Having a condition that you can’t do anything about personally and have to rely on others has to be frustrating and make you feel a bit helpless.
