It’s been a morning. I accidentally swallowed my bedtime meds this AM. Not a huge problem but it meant I swallowed an ODT med (orally disintegrating tablet).
Do I need to take the ODT again and melt it under my tongue? Or just skip altogether? Should I call my pharmacist maybe? They’re not open yet.
I’ve done this before…I just felt a little “off” most of the day by taking my usual bedtime med after breakfast.
Maybe give your pharmacist a ring when they open. They will know what to do
I second calling the pharmacist. As far as swallowing an ODT med, that usually doesn’t make much difference, but the pharmacist will know more than us.
Moving to Medications.
I did this a few times
Ask your doctor what to do to get back on track
Much better to asked as I was going to assume and be wrong in the process
Contact your doctors office but I would think that you don’t double up on any med.
A few people already beat me too it however I’d definitely call the pharmacy I’ve accidentally done that too they told me too take my blood pressure every 2 hours
I also have cardiomyopathy and am on extremely high doses of blood pressure meds
Maybe there’s something you might have to do
Thank you guys for all the help. It all turned out ok. I will have to be more careful about it from now on. I’m fine though. Pretty tired though
