I made the song with him. I listened to it on my way home, called him said I didn’t like MY part. And asked if I could redo it and send it to him to mix it. He says “SCREW YOUR VERSE, it’s my song now!!! I DONT WANNA DO EXTRA WORK. IM KEEPING IT!!!” I say “OK that’s fine, but then I won’t make another song with u…”. He got pissed and finally agrees. I do my part, call him up and no answer. He ignores me a couple hours. So I mix it myself… I text him “there I redid it, mixed it myself now you don’t have to do any extra work ;)”. No response. Hours later I text him again.
Yo man I get you’re mad. But you don’t understand that making my verse flow better makes your verse better… I wasn’t being unreasonable at all. That’s how collaborations work. I’m getting props on it. I’d like to make more songs together. But just as I would’ve let u redo your verse if you didn’t like it, you gotta let me do mine. This could be a single it’s dope now instead of just ONE dope verse. U don’t want that… no one will listen to yours if mine isn’t good and they’re not gonna just skip ahead to get to yours. It’s way smoother now. "

Couple days pass. Finally texts me this morning he says “it sounds good”. That’s all he said but I think he’ll come around…
