I think I've asked this before

If someone runs off a short story on a printer for an ostensible favor, can they get another copy of that story reprinted, so that they would be in possession of the story? They ran the story off from a flash drive. I have several different drafts of the story stored in different places. I typed up the story on a writing site, so it is copyrighted. The oldest one is a much shorter version of the story that I entered in a library contest in 2018. They’re doing it as punishment for some offensive language I used when someone was harassing me on the internet. If a person is foaming at the mouth and using swear words the decent thing to do would be to leave him alone. It’s a no brainer.

Printers can’t just own the content being printed. You didn’t intend for that. It’s assumed deleted after the print job.
