I think to play 1 hour a day 5 days a week first month.

Next month 2 hours

And increase till 5 hours

Good luck, I’ve seen some ridiculous speed running in Mario among other things.
The only experience I have is with pikmin 1. The game has so many glitches, when I first saw a 6 (in game days) day run online I really did not comprehend it. Some of the shortcuts to these games defy logic.
