Yeah, theyā€™re kind of fun in a depressing, soul-crushing way. I like them so much that even if I had never got schizophrenia I still would have liked to take them just for the fun and excitement of it. Theyā€™re such pretty colors.

Lol no just I couldnā€™t imagine anything that you take on a 1 time basis could be as effective as 5 different meds I take every single day.

Maybe Iā€™d be able to get off abilify if they cured sz, but not my other meds I donā€™t think.

Every time I went off meds, I thought I was fine, always ends badly and a long road to feeling better again

above. Not me nervousness set in, then the voices were unbearable, then every day was like lifting mental weights and I just didnā€™t know how long i could take it and I couldnā€™t. got angry, emotional, beat up by them everyday, paranoia, frightening delusions. Back on, cake.

Iā€™ve been off medications for 14 years, without a glitch.

I highly recommend substituting the medication with vitamins that improve your state, maintaining a healthy diet and sleep schedule, and keeping in touch with people or getting a regular dose of being around in a place with other people. Also, I think you should work with your doctor/psychiatrist to wean yourself off of the medication per their advice. I have tried more than a few times to quit on my own, but these are drugs that our bodies and mind have built a dependency on, so it has to be done with all safety nets in place. Also, I think you should pay attention to anything that is a recreational drug (if you do any), for example I canā€™t do any and I canā€™t even do caffeine. Other drugs can play into mental illness ALOT.
