I don’t want to harm people

You don’t have to harm people…

I had the fear that I would kill someone and end up in prison but it’s been 10 years and still no dead people

Dodgy route to go down. Wouldn’t you rather be in a nice place? Because you easily can be.

I feel unsafe almost everywhere

Me too. I sometimes talk to myself.

Maybe it’s a good time to take them up on their offer of a group home

You don’t have to hurt anyone, no ones forcing you too. It’s a choice.
You wouldn’t want to live in a locked facility for a long period of time if you knew what is like. First of all, you can hurt someone inside a facility just as easy as on the outside. It’s a matter of self control. If you live in a facility you’re going to be locked up with 20 or 30 or 40 people you may not like but you have to see them and be around them every day. And some of them will probably be more violent than you and might hurt you.

In a facility you have to go by their schedule, you lose the freedom to get up in the morning when you want to and you have to eat what they tell you, and you have to eat when they tell you to eat. I was locked up for 8 months. Living in a relatively small space gets old fast. And any facility I’ve been in is boring most of the day. You give up a lot of freedoms when you’re in a locked facility.

I was in a psych ward for 8 months and while it wasn’t nice it felt safe (though not always)
