I think I’m done looking at porn

I know I’ve said that before but I mean it this time. The problem for me is that people keep using money from my bank account somehow. I thought I was being smart by going to Google and searching for porn pictures then just clicking on the pictures without going to the website so I wouldn’t become a victim of a phishing scam but somehow I think I still got phished because this morning I had a charge from Apple for $86.29 for something I didn’t buy. I’m poor and on SSI and I can’t afford to keep getting phished. So long porn, it was nice while it lasted!

I’ve been trying to lay off it myself, and have done pretty good for the last couple of months. I fell down once or twice, but a lot better than I was doing with it

All things in moderation

My friend buys CD porn cos he doesn’t like all the viruses you get online.

I gave up on porn myself I don’t think it helps my self confidence. Also I was watching bad things anyways. So yea. Good riddance.

Just pay yearly for a sub to MalwareBytes or similar. You wont have that problem. Its just literally £30 ish a year.

If you are gonna look at porn - stick to just the one website that you know is safe, i would list some, but yeah not for this forum.

Randomly using google for porn pictures will get you in trouble.

I can’t live without hentai

This is very true. Only visit the sites that are safe. Go to those safe sites first and use the search bar on that site. Google’s search bar will give you all related results including malicious ones.

Additionally, if this has happened in the past and you never had your computer/phone cleaned afterwards then it’s possible that there is a virus/browser trackers/etc lingering in your PC.

I suggest taking it to a reputable place or person that will do a virus removal for you if you can. If you can’t, I have some basic tips to help, starting with changing your passwords. Write them down someplace you’ll remember or use a password vault.

Also great advice. Be sure to choose a reputable software. Some programs will say it is antivirus but really it’s just a virus. It’s usually the free ones that do this. It’s also important to know that most antivirus programs, even the good ones, cannot remove viruses that are already on your PC.

I only visit Christian porn sites, the only thing they’ll phish for is your soul.

Not Quite - In all the years ive had a pc - ive always managed to remove a virus with paid software. MalwareBytes is one of the best - its been around over 20 years.

If your unsure - run another one from another company thats well known like Norton or Trend Micro. They do free scans.

Don’t worry. I’ll pick up the slack and watch your share and my share and everything will even out.

I stopped watching porn a few years back for a few reasons. One: it is almost impossible to avoid incest/stepfamily porn. That is highly triggering to me and I get nauseous even reading the titles. Two: I have WAY too many friends who do porn, and I do NOT want to accidentally stumble upon their content and see my friends in that light. Three: written material is better.

I think it messed up my sexual sensitivity a little bit, and messed up my self esteem. If I could go back in time, I would never do porn. ever. or masturbation. ever.

I hope I can recover from this shiiit. I like to believe that I can, to a good enough degree :))

Porn really messed me up. I got into some really sick sh*t. I’m still recovering from it.

I’ve grown tired of a lot of it.

I did some racy videos when I was younger, can attest to the industry being toxic.

I quit porn a long time ago, have watched occasionally though. I don’t think it’s healthy for the brain to get that much dopamine.

I almost have no sex drive on medication anyway so I’m not tempted to watch.
