I think I have a physical health problem

Yesterday, when I woke up, I couldn’t move my right arm as my elbow joint was completely ceased

It was very painful, and I spent about 10 mins trying to move it enough to get out of bed

Also, recent weeks if I am sat at my desk working for an hour at a time, my legs feel completely stiff and crippled

I have no idea if this is a physical problem, or med induced

But who do I let know this? GP? MH services?

Not entirely sure if it’s a hangover from landscaping… I have spent about a third of my life doing pretty intense labour

Yeah gp would be first point of call.

I agree GP. Could be many things.

How are you doing this morning @Joker ?

It’s there a possibility that you slept in a uncomfortable position?

My legs become stiff if I sit for a long while and if I’m tense.

It’s probably nothing, it could be meds? When I was on clopixol I became stiff and had tremors.

Talk to your doc if it persists.

Not really woken up yet. Need more coffee and tobacco in my body

How’re you today?

I’ve been up for some hours now.

Daylight is breaking.

Spent some time on the forum this morning and had some coffees, juice and some yoghurt with muesli.

Tomorrow I see my pdoc.

@Speedy I woke up on my back flat on the bed

Before when I have slept awkwardly, my entire arm is floppy

This was a complete ceasing of the joint.

Not felt a pain like that before

Yeah, definitely phone your doctor about it.

Hope you get to feeling better. That does sound a little scary.

I’m 42 and I sometimes get aches and pains too.

Ah cool. Do you have any plans what to cover? Hope the appointment goes well!

Ok, I understand. Hopefully it’s not the meds. I know you’ve been struggling with finding the right meds.

I’ve experienced something like where my arms didn’t work properly and I don’t know if it was a mild seizure or not but other than that I haven’t I think you should see a doctor soon

Depression and voices are the usual. The anxiety is new. So, I mainly want to say that I want to keep taking benzos (or she needs to come up with an alternative).

I’m also going to say that I go to Spain for 3 months this winter and I’ll need a supply of meds and that we maybe can have videoconferences.

Also, I’ll give an update on my work with my movement coach and that I’ve done a microcredential in mental health and have asked to do a Masters in the field.

30 mins passes by quickly. So I think that’s all we can cover. Oh yes, that I want to see her every 4 weeks again instead of 6.

Hope you can get all that sorted!

If it was me I’d definitely ask for a longer term treatment.

Benzos are not good

Sounds like my arthritis at times. Wouldn’t hurt to speak to your GP.

Not been able to get through to my gp doctor

Really frustrated

Told the MH team but not heard back as yet

At least in a day or two they can tell me if it’s the meds or not

My GP allows to book appointments in his calendar automatically. Do you have to call to make an appointment?

Yea. Since Covid-19 they have been reluctant to see patients face to face

Please check your uric acid tests. Because it causes joints pain.
