I asked my pdoc two months ago if I could switch to oral Risperdal from the depot injections and he said to wait two months. So, the other day, I saw him and asked him how often a switch from the oral back to the injections is unsuccessful, in the cases where the oral doesn’t work? He told me that 30% of the time, a switch back to the injections is unsuccessful. I told him, “That’s it, I don’t want to take that chance. I’m staying on the injections.” He told me he thought that was a good choice.
