I have not written down anything in a few weeks now. I thought that enough was enough. I kept my journals from Feb 1999 to March 2021, over 22 years. Do you think I should still write?
I think you should keep going. That is a long streak.
Did you use to write daily? You can slow down and write maybe once a week. But it would be a shame to stop after all these years.
Yes, I wrote daily. Somehow I am tired of writing. 22 years is a long time. Maybe I just have a break or maybe I should review all writings and compile these writings somehow.

That is a good idea. On 12th June 2002 I had just returned back to my little town from the States. It is a good way to go back in time.
22 years of writing journals is a big achievement. I guess writing journals everyday contributes to your health. So keep it up!
There are some benefits in keeping the journal. I can write down my thoughts, emotions and any delusions. But recently I have just become tired of writing. What I should do might be to review my past writings and compile these writings in one document, but it might take some time. Yes, 22 years is a long time.
Maybe you should add scrapbooking, that is, maybe newspaper clippings, photos, drawings to keep it interesting.
I tried journaling. I wrote some stuff down on a hidden file buried deep in my computer so no one could find it, but then I got paranoid someone would find it and read it so I deleted it. I can’t journal.
I had a diary once when I was younger like 13 but was so paranoid of someone finding it once I died and reading it that I threw it out.
I would say keep writing but dont write about negative stuff. Try and write about positive stuff like a gratitude journal or something else you enjoy like a recipe book or poem book or music book. So many ideas and it doesnt have to be every day perhaps like once a week and the positive things that happened in that week
