I sleep 12 hours a day, is it because of meds?

As I said, is it because of meds? Or could it be because of thyroid problems that I have?

Probably meds. I sleep about 12 hrs. a day too. Think it’s a combination of meds and inactivity.

What meds do you take?

Depakine chrono and klozapol

I sleep bout 12 too… I think it’s the meds. They are mild tranquilizers if I remember correctly??

Depakine is for bipolar and klozapol is an antipsychotic

A 16 hour day doesn’t work when I have a 12 hour mental battery.

I sleep at least 12 hours, probably meds and thyroid for me as well

Yes, I looked up both your medicines and I think it’s possible they could be contributing to your sleepiness. I know for me my meds change the amount that I sleep depending on what med I’m taking. The difference can be pretty drastic. Right now I usually sleep about 6 hours a day due to meds. Sometimes only 4 hours. But I’ve had some med combinations where I was sleeping all day it seemed.

I was sleeping that much until I stopped Doxepin, so yeah, it’s possible for meds to do that

I believe its got to do with the damage pychosis does to your brain after taking high doses of omega threes for a long time my need to sleep excessively went away.

I slept 8 hours without meds, 10-12 hours on Zyprexa and I sleep 9 hours on Seroquel.
