But I did. I’m not a 100% winner anymore. I worked on a puzzle for over an hour before throwing in the towel. Sigh. Perfectionism is such a tempting dream.

Just play easy all the time.
That’s the only way I can consistently win. 
I usually do. I’ve played hundreds of games without losing but this one got me. I wonder if it was unsolvable.
My husband is obsessed with maintaining his 100% on freecell… so I can understand how it must feel to have to give up on one!

I never heard of that. I’m relatively computer ignorant. Playing free cell is free.
I’ve never been able to get one free cell game out 
Sounds like something my dad would have loved. He would play solitaire and do 1000 piece puzzles alone for fun. I don’t think he ever got a chance to use the internet
