Even though I started a new job, today was my 5th day and I am proud of myself - I haven’t worked in a year. But I am fat. I gained 30kg for 6 months - since I was diagnosed. Not because of the medications, just eating compulsively because of stress. I feel horrible. I am paranoid all people think I am so fat. I am ashamed when I eat. I am considering go get some chocolate but I don’t want these pants to get small too. So I took a seroquel. Everyday I say I start tomorrow This weight really depresses me
The answer is always diet and exercise.
Exercise will decrease your stress.
Avoid sugar (even fruit), eat fish (salmon is great), protein and fiber.

Ok this is what worked for me. I started walking miles a day swiftly to help lose the weight. After about a month I realized if I limited my sugar too it really helped. By a month and a half I found myself less hungry bc my exercise and I also craved foods like apples and stuff which never happened to me. Think of where u want to be and what u need to change and make it gradual. By two hard months it won’t be difficult anymore.
Start by eating healthier even if it just a little bit more each day. I’d follow the general guidelines of the food pyramid. Then I would do some form of exercise everyday and slowly increase the amount everyday whether it is walking an extra few minutes to do a few more push up sit ups or jumping jacks. Keep doing that until you start seeing results. Then keep increasing the intensity and improving your diet and you will be fit.
I agree with you. I gained 3-5 kilos during this winter, probably just this month. But I can not do exercise right now as I have been tired all the time recently. I’m waiting for my energy level getting better then starting to do exercise.
