So excited. I have been in a medical billing/coding program through an online university. I will be completing my certificate program in just two weeks. This has been a 10 month long course and I have managed to keep a 4.0 GPA. Hoping to finish strong these next two weeks. Then the next step is to schedule my certification exam that costs $130 to test. It’s 100 questions and a 4 hour time limit, I have to go to a testing center to take it, I can’t take it at home. I think I will study for an additional 4 weeks after school before I schedule my exam. I have to get at least a 80% on the test to pass, I want to study more because I would rather not have to pay to take the test more than once.
Wow, great job!
Way to go, it sounds like a good plan.
Good luck on the test, you got this
Thanks guys! Hoping to finish strong, I have a couple of super hard assignments due in the next two weeks I just hope I can get good grades on them
Hanna weren’t you the user that worked cleaning a hotel a long time ago?
Good for you @Hanna_Foxx! Keep us updated. You’ll have to tell us about your first job in this new field too.
@Nomad I used to be a housekeeper for a hospital!
That’s great that you’re doing so well on the medical billing program.
I hope you find the perfect job afterwards.
Great job and good luck on the exam!
Good stuff! And good luck!
That’s awesome next your gonna be getting that money you need
Thanks guys! So nervous for my exam
The thing is that I may not end up going into the medical coding field. I’m happy at my current job and there’s opportunities for growth with my current company. I started at $15 an hour as a regular customer service rep. Now 2.5 years later I am a supervisor and making $21.50. I love the company I work for, they have been so accommodating to me and my mental and physical health needs.
That’s huge! I wouldn’t want to leave either
Do your thang hanna foxx
