I need USA information and ideas........maybe even other country ideas as well

I need to figure a legal way to make income so I can get a house not an apartment, but I was told by USA disability office that if i work i loose everything…
How am I gonna get income more than what I have in order to get a solid home or even a better car/van ?

For that type of money I think you need an inheritance.

Are you currently in the US on SSDI or SSI?

What are you told you would be losing?

I bought a business and put it in my wife’s name. But I had to borrow like $140,000

To the best of my knowledge you can make a certain amount of money with SSI/SSD, it’s a percentage of what you receive. Their website should be able to clarify this, or one of their representatives.

I’m on ssdi and they sent me information on ticket to work program. Agency to help disabled find work. They say I can work and keep benefits.

While unemployed I applied for both ssi and ssdi. I got approved SSDI first and declined the SSI benefits because of some strings attached. They would cut my ssdi amount.

If you are struggling. Look for all the federal and state assistance you can to cut cost pay bills rent.

SSA tends to have you in the ringer for income limits.

Dad and I are both on SSDI but with our connections in the community we have an under the table side hustle. We don’t make a huge amount of cash but that was our option to supplement income.
