Finding a medication that works is the first line defence. Supplements are secondary.

I would put hobbies second and supplements third, but that’s me.

Agree, coping strategies and keeping busy with healthy interests is ofcourse important too.

You might need a med change @Noop_12

Caffeine and L - Tyrosine come to mind.

You should raise your concerns to your doctor and see what they say.

i spoke with my pdoc. i told him i have relapse emotions. he doesnt know or understand the word “relapse”. i then explained to him what relapse is. then he told me to just stop taking my meds. is this a good idea? i only take 1 medication “risperdal 4mg”. its been 8 years with this medicine. ive notice i dont get any relapse if i miss a day without meds. i try telling my pdoc if theres any other tips or tricks to taper of risperdal but he said no.

Well if you are going off you should taper down slowly, that way there won’t be a fullblown relapse if it doesen’t work.

is half a pill the choice?

So your doctor really told you to stop all your meds without tapering? Sounds strange.

Maybe half a pill, but you should research on the net if they are ok to split. Depends if the medicine is evenly distributed in the pill. Ideally you would get a new perscription from your doctor with 1mg pills, if they come in that strenght? That way tapering is much more easy.

turns out my pdoc prescribe me hydroxyzine. what does this med do?

I have no idea. Maybe ask your doctor, or perhaps make a new thread about it if you want to see if anyone here has experience with it.

he said it will calm me down… but ill google it. its for anxious reasons
