I think after 8 yrs it becomes vintage and they don’t make parts for it anymore bc i asked how much they’d take for my old macbook pro and they said £100 if it was working and it wasnt so it was basically worthless,
I looked at the mac air but i just wanted a change, i am happy with my purchase so far, it may not be as robust as a mac air but it makes up for it in other ways.
tbh i like that it is making me think more about what browser to use bc it is new to me and that means its more interesting lol, idk if you get me but, i do like my new Lappy
I bought a new MacBook Pro about a month ago. The stupid trackpad is so big and the palm rejection is so terrible that the cursor is always jumping, highlighting, and clicking all over the place when I’m trying to type. Then my palm interferes when I’m actually trying to click. I called Best Buy and they were like, yeah that’s a typical complaint for these new MacBooks, sorry. Two weeks had passed so I couldn’t return it. I called AppleCare and they were like yeah, you just have to learn to live with it. So now I have this super expensive laptop that I never want to use.
That sucks!!! I had an issue like that with an expensive netbook from asus. I will never buy another asus again. It was when I was in psychosis when I bought it. Not sure how the hell or why I bought one. I gave it to my niece though and tried fixing it. It works great with an external mouse but it’s super slow now. It’s great for light duty work.
sorry to hear that, the mouse pad was the second thing i checked after the feel of the keys, i tried a cheaper one but it was very hard to press the mouse pad, the one i got was more expensive but the pad is so much better, this Lappy has a really good sound as well and the screen res is amazing.
you could sell it i guess, i always had problems with my macbook,
idk how to get the data from it though, i think its lost but i wouldnt want anyone stealing my data, idk what i’d get for spares though, i’ll have to look it up
