Two plumbers were over to check out our heating system for yearly maintenance and they left like 45 minutes ago but I’m still paranoid.
Anybody else get this way too?
I get super paranoid when workers have to come over the house.

I’m hate having engineers at my house. Plumbers or boiler technicians.

the way my household members delay fixing anything im more glad that its been gotten over with, like recently we got the dryer and washer fixed. the guy neing here didnt bother me but my dirty and wet clothes that couldnt be dried is what bothered me

I used to. But now it’s In the background mostly. The last time I got paranoid was about a potential hidden camera on a nearby pole.
Generally speaking I don’t get paranoid anymore.
I’m diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, so off meds I’d be completely paranoid probably.

paranoia shouldnt be too overwhelming if meds are working properly unless there is unresolved anxiety or panic spectrum of disorders flaring up

I get paranoid too man..not about maintenance workers but lately..although its not to bad ..im paranoid that peoole blaming car doors has something to do with the neighbors not liking me.
Its been easy to push off today but yesterday I got overwhelmed with the noises. Its better when I remind myself i have severe mental illness and the perception might be wrong tho

I went through bouts of paranoia where if someone was too nice my voices would come up with nightmare scenarios about them. Right now no paranoia. Everything comes and goes. I’m moderately ok for awhile then it’s off the deep end.

What are you paranoid about exactly? They would gain nothing by sabotaging your heating system.
I get paranoid sometimes too but it’s usually minor.

Workers at my house are always sent by the men that follow me. They have a network of people from all different fields. The people they send report back on me. I no longer am home when workers come. My husband takes care of it. But if I’m not there, they put cameras in my house to do surveillance on me

I’ve got this anxious-paranoia thing when workers come by. It feels like they’re invading my personal space and I’m invading there’s. It helps to get up out of bed and do a chore while there here.

If a plumber has been over I tend to get paranoid they have tampered with the plumbing to cause a carbon monoxide leak to kill me.

You should have a carbon monoxide detector in any case. You can get them on Amazon and they’re cheap.

A little paranoid about them sabotaging my heating system.
But more so having paranoid thoughts about them doing me some sort of harm in general.

My paranoia is getting worse
It’s not only with workers, it’s paranoia in general.
Could be the darker shorter days contributing to this but I’m not sure.
