I’m suppose to be running a program at my library. It will be my first program ever. The program is a coloring event. There are 20 seats filled and the waitlist is full too.
Needless to say I will have at least 20 kids and their grown ups in a room. I will have to give instructions to everyone. Probably repeating myself a few times as people trickle in. I’m so nervous.
Any advice? Wish me luck!

Did the library give you a lesson plan? If so I would just read over the lesson plan so you seem familiar with all the instructions.

I had a program at the library. I was sweating but not really nervous. I got through it. I bet you won’t sweat. There were only around 7 people or something.
Just keep the coloring passion alive and they will love the session.
Nothing step by step just the general ideas of what the kiddos are supposed to make. They have a lot of options so I’ll have to explain carefully.

Mine do too. Especially with kids. Kids say out of pocket stuff all the time and I’m never prepared for it.

Sounds fun You got this! Just prepare in your mind things you can say about the projects and go over the materials beforehand. You’ll do great

The program went well. Even though I forgot my Ativan at home. The kids loved the coloring and a few of them even tried to copy my template which was very cool. Thank you everyone for your encouragement.
