Where i feel safe and i don’t worry too much about my kiddos.
Well today a bomb threat turned out to be real and there was a bomb in the law courts building. Thankfully diffused without any injuries.
Strange world we live in.

We had IRA bombs in London when I was growing up
Reason you don’t find a bin in places like the tube etc

Holy crap that’s scary!
Thankfully it was diffused in time though.
I’m my city we hear about an occasional shooting, or robbery.
And recently some protesters were arrested.
But terrorism is a whole other thing.

Yeah, we had a bomb threat at work a few years back.
It was the stereotypical disgruntled ex-employee.
It was a little scarier than it should have been because it’s an army reserve office building and the ex-employee was a soldier.

One time in the army my friends were hiding some liquor inside the particle board tiles of a dropped ceiling. They found this grenade with the pin pulled, the safety clip off, and the spoon held in place by a single strand of thin scotch tape. In time that tape would have dry rotted, the spoon would have popped, and the grenade would have exploded in their room. It was just an evil ■■■■■■■ saying ■■■■ you to the world in his own special way.
