I kick my own rear over the smallest mistakes

I can’t stop this growing problem I have if I don’t do something perfect and screw up to the smallest degree I have a little ‘psychotic freakout’ and tense up
I’ve tried to stop this awful tendency by rational thinking but nothing really works :grimacing:

Any suggestions?

Can you try to do things like tensing your whole body and then letting go and relaxing? Or guided imagery? Or an ice pack on the back of your neck to snap you out of it?

Remember that everyone makes mistakes and don’t punish yourself for them. Keep yourself warm with your internal heater.
