Why do I keep feeling like I’m going to lose all my progress that I’ve made over the last two years?..Its been unbearably hard to make it, will just bearable…i just want this war going on in my mind to stop. I don’t know if I could lose it that easily, but it feels like if I let my gaurd down for one minute I will backside to the terrible places I’ve been with sz, and just with life in general. It’s honestly really scary
Sometimes I feel the same… I just take my meds in order, not abusing drugs and alcohol, kepping myself busy, do therapy, have some socials encounters etc… I hope it helps me
So you just keep positive habits? Habits make sense to maintain things. I just try to stay focused @anon92220549
I guess they’re positives… I haven’t noticed that. I try to keep myself busy and content which makes me not think of relapse
i try not to dwell on that, i dont see the point in worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet and mght not, i try and always say that it is out of my hands bc i have faith that i will get through. keep on trucking
I think that’s great that you have the faith to believe you will get through somehow. I’ve just been in so many awful places. I think that’s why it might be so scary to me. I do think I’ll get through whatever I have to go through, I just hope it never gets ad bad as it has been
take care of your overall health in addition to taking the right meds. Exercise, diet, and avoid alcohol and drugs. Also take care of your spirituality. This will prevent you from backsliding.
i hope you don’t either, I’ll say a little prayer for you if it’ll help
Yeah, it would, thanks @daydreamer
I trust the meds I’m on now. Abilify wasn’t enough. But with naltrexone and Zoloft too. …I don’t wanna tempt fate but they really work for me . I think you’ll be fine if you keep good habits. I trust my meds, well my meds even help me develop good habits.
It’s understandable that you would feel this way. But you can greatly reduce the chances of falling back by taking your meds, working with your pdoc and taking care of yourself in general. We all go through ups and downs, some more than others, but in the long run you should be okay.
@freefee
I pray for you to have some relief. It’s hard to be on edge all of the time, hoping the ball doesn’t drop. You received great advice-take your meds, talk with your doctor, watch what you eat, work out as you can, and spend time with others. Hoping the best for you!
I hope you will remain alright
