What is this? I haven’t had a cigarette for 5 1/2 years and I stop reading Obama’s first book and feel the need for a cigarette? It’s like I’m reading about his struggle and start struggling myself. I didn’t plan on this. What to do?
Anything, just don’t have a cigarette.
Don’t smoke @PinCushion.
Have a Coke.
There’s no chance I’ll smoke as there isn’t a cigarette in the house and no one’s going to go out to get me any. The craving is gone, now. It feels more like an upset stomach - more how non smokers would feel after reading this stirring book.
I get cigarette cravings daily, especially if I see someone on a show or movie smoking.
Don’t smoke! It is worth it to resist the craving. Maybe try eating something instead. Do something to distract yourself. Don’t give in!
I won’t. I remember being a slave to cigarettes and don’t want to go through that again. The craving has gone, now. It wasn’t really strong, just enough to let me know that they are still a formidable substance.
good for you that you didn’t give in to the craving.
There were no cigarettes in the house which made it easier.
