It’s been a week exactly since my last shower and hair wash. It’s time again and I am so unmotivated. I have some time now to at least wash my short hair. It would be a cinch.

Try and find joy in it. That’s what helped me. And eventually I got out of the rythym of having self hygiene issues. Doing walks around the block helped motivate me to shower more too. As well as with a better laundry habit.
Is there any way to make the shower enjoyable? I try to make my showers fun to make me more motivated to take them.

I’m like a dorky child, so I like to make a game out of it. Earning points, racking up high scores. I also have thought about getting stuff that you can paint or draw in the shower with that washes off with the water so I can doodle and distract myself while I let my conditioner set.

They actually make bathtime crayons for little kids, but it works lol

I’m downloading Habitica on my phone.
There. I’ve downloaded it and entered my data into Habitica. It’s really cool. We’ll see if it motivates me. I entered my showers, hair washing, teeth brushing, flossing, yoga, and piano practice.

Yes! Nice-smelling soaps always help. Also bath bombs for bath people.

Try to think a shower as soothing and invigorating, I take one every morning and it makes me look much better and I’m ready to start the day.
