People seem to think that if I take up with them I will suddenly have a miraculous recovery. I’m sorry, I’ve been this way for 38 years. It’s not going to change. Any time I have a roommate he starts spending less and less time in the room with me. There almost always is no ill will in their behavior. They just can’t tolerate my symptoms. My symptoms make it impossible to live with me. No one can.
