Hello I was approved for SSDI a few years back but denied ssi cause of a couple 5 grand bonds I’m about to get the second one back when I do get it back and my assists r less then 2 grand will I be able two apply and get ssi also do I even have to apply can I just call them what info do I need? I only get 310 from ssdi after they take out money for Medicare so I need this
I recommend visiting the nearest Social Security Administration building after calling them and asking what you need to bring. Social Security card, state photo identification are a must. I recommend bringing a birth certificate and any mail / paperwork needed. W2s are good too I suppose
I don’t know but make sure you apply for extra help with medicare so you don’t have to pay the premiums.
