Good luck getting anyone to agree on what those terms mean, but I’ll try my best. The self is you. Depending on who you ask some will say it is everything. Not a drop in the ocean but the ocean in a drop, as Rumi said. Higher self and soul are kind of the same thing, both are ideas and represent the part of you that is neither a body nor an ego. Being is all that is. You have never experienced non-being. It can’t be experienced. Love is one of the most powerful forces of nature. It is a connection that compels people to act illogically and without regard for their own self interest. It is one reason why reality is illogical. Our capacity for love is our most redeeming attribute.
Love is all those oozy schmoozy laffy taffy wacky emotions.
What matters is that all of those are diminished by mental illness…

@Zoe That’s awesome! The closest I ever had to a guinea pig was a hamster. It didn’t live very long though, I buried it in my backyard. Sniffle!
