I hate my parents may they burn in hell

I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT MEDICATION.
I ABSOLUTELY CAN’T
I WENT UNMEDICATED FOR 4 YEARS AND NOW I’m tapering off again.
And I feel terrible.

hating your parents isn’t a sin for Jewish law?

What the hell I thought your parents were educated…

That’s really bad news @Chess24. Please explain to your parents that you need meds. There’s plenty of meds to try too. I had to try close to 10 different meds before I found one thst worked for me. But that’s a very extreme case.

I suggest you meet with your psychiatrist as soon as you can.

I think that what they doing is against the law, it might endanger you.

Why can’t you take yourself to a doctor?

I’m sorry you’re going through this. It sounds very foolish for your parents to try herbs over a medication that was working for you.

I hope you can get to a real doctor. Maybe you can ask for a social worker to be assigned to you so that you have someone who can help you navigate the system.

So everything that is against the law is harmful?

And everything that the law supports is lawful/just/good?

Isn’t that a belief?

If people decided suddenly one day that all that was good yesterday wasn’t good and it is against the law, then weren’t they being… delusional/resistant to reason that was trying to tell them otherwise?

How long has Erez been on “meds”?

You know guys I’m getting quite sick of people denying that withdrawal symptoms exist and is tended to be thought of as “evidence” that a disorder really exists or that it is still prevalent in the sufferer.

Shoot me for saying this stuff, but I see more evidence of it every day. It’s only a matter of time before people start becoming violent for ignoring it.

It’s like saying (as it’s been said because its the best analogy) that just because a person stops drinking alcohol is not evidence that they “need to keep drinking” or are “lacking alcohol”.

https://davidhealy.org/psychiatry-gone-astray/

Because I’m not going to be the first person to say this and I’m not going to be the last.

“A Danish professor of psychiatry said this at a recent meeting for psychiatrists, just after I had explained that it was difficult for patients to quit. Fortunately, he was contradicted by two foreign professors also at the meeting. One of them had done a trial with patients suffering from panic disorder and agoraphobia and half of them found it difficult to stop even though they were slowly tapering off. It cannot be because the depression came back, as the patients were not depressed to begin with. The withdrawal symptoms are primarily due to the antidepressants and not the disease.”

@twinklestars I’m sorry to disagree with you but from seeing how Erez has been doing and is doing now, it is far from evident that “medication was working for him.”.

Good heavens…

The best definition for medicine/remedy: to remove sickness.

REMOVE.

It is DETESTABLE to call Doctors “doctors” and thus give them credit for something THEY’RE NOT DOING.

Erez… if you need to go back on meds to feel better, you need to let your parents know if you can - as best you can.

You’ve been talking about suicide a lot and that’s pretty intense, yo.

So please respond…

Are you kidding? He was having, and posting about his intrusive thoughts about Israel all day long.

Then he went on meds and was able to think and talk about other things. He was more positive, and thinking about other people.

The difference is pretty evident in his writing.

Why? If it helps a little.

I already answered that @firemonkey .

Sorry-mea culpa.

@Chess24 You’re an adult. Go to the doctor or hospital or call Emergency medical services yourself. I and other users have posted various links to emergency phone numbers etc. in Israel on some of your other recent posts.

Who is denying withdrawal symptoms and who is saying that doctors can ‘remove’ schizophrenia?

No fellows I am NOT responsible.
I am severely handicapped.
I can’t function at all, I can’t navigate things at all.
My reliance on my parents is absolute.
Don’t be fooled by my participation in the forum,
it doesn’t reflect my situation in real life at all.

@Chess24 please talk to your parents and explain what you are going thru and that you can now see the difference your med was having and that you want to go back on it.

See what they say and let us know. If you’ve already talked to them let us know what they said so we can help you reason with them. Hang in there buddy, I know how far you’ve come
