I hate my case manager

I got a new one and she’s supposed to call me once a week. She hasn’t called me in a month and a half.

She’s getting paid for this ■■■■. So she still gets her money but she’s not doing her job.

A few months ago I lost all of my mental health support at once and now I’m just struggling.

Can you report her to her supervisors ?

Can’t you make a complaint?

And what’s a case manager? We only have psychiatrists and social workers here.

I could I suppose but I’ve never really been one to do that sort of thing. I feel like they wouldn’t listen to me since I’m the “mentally ill” one and she’s the case manager. Idk…

My case manager is supposed to call me and talk to me about how I’m doing and help me. Also set me up with a new treatment team for counseling.

I also need to talk to her about finding out about seeing if I’m dyslexic since I have many problems with reading…

It’s been over two weeks since I’ve spoken to anybody in person or seen anybody.

I’m like stuck in my home where I live because I’m scared of going outside because of the spiders…

You need to call her manager and say she must not have your contact info because she’s not calling you. It gives her the benefit of the doubt. Why weekly though? I only see my case manager once every 3 months.

Idk why exactly it’s weekly but my old case manager would call me once a week.

What spiders? Is there a lot of spiders?

There are spiders coming into where I live, kind of like an infestation, and taking images of me and sending them to the government and a certain district of mental health to spy on me set up by a team of people who don’t exactly trust me.

The spiders are reading my mind constantly and also I’m accidentally triggering them into my home somehow but i haven’t figured that out yet.

This has taken over my entire life.

Why didn’t you call her after two weeks?

I did call her and I left her a message but I never got a call back.

Maybe you can call her a couple more times and leave a message. Tell her your understanding is that she should have called you and you’re wondering what’s going on. It might be a simple misunderstanding.

If she still doesn’t call you back then call up the psychiatrist or whoever is running that clinic and tell them it’s been a month and your case worker is not calling you. You don’t have to be nasty or rude, or confrontational.

Just tell them you need a case worker to help you and you’re wondering why this one is not getting back to you. Like I said it could be a misunderstanding and maybe she is under the impression that you are fine and don’t need her help. Or it could be some other reason. The bottom line is you need help and you’re not getting it. Don’t deliberately try to get her in trouble but if she is not doing her job she needs to be called on it and you need to get help any way you can including a complaint. You have a right to know what’s going on with her.

It’s good to have that constant contact.
My case manager makes an effort to call me 4 times a week.

I’m sorry you are not getting the help you need @TheStrange.

Make sure that you don’t give up.

My care-coordinator (case manager) won’t leave me alone.

Sorry you are going through this, my new nurse was to call me once she started the position and check in every so often to see how i’m doing, that was over a year ago and still no call, I called a couple of times but no one called back, so I know how you feel. Being alone with those thoughts is rough
