I hate it when

When I call out for Phil wherever he is

And he replies
With, What?

Can’t he just say,
Yes, dear?

I am currently living with my elderly dad and spend the majority of my time in my bedroom. He is constantly yelling out my name whenever he wants me and never gives me time to respond before yelling my name out again. It drives me nuts.

I always reply with a “yes”, though, never a “what”.

Wow. Yeah hwy. 61 goes south not sure how far it goes north up into Wisconsin. You’d have to connect on I-80 in Davenport to get to Nebraska.

Normally I’d take your side in everything related to Phil but honestly…
I hate it when people yell for me.
If they’re far enough away that they have to yell, there’s a chance one or both of us won’t be able to hear an actual sentence, which means someone has to go to where the other one is.
And the person yelling usually expects the other one to drop what they’re doing and go to them.

I find it rude.

I hate it when someone needs to stand nose to nose to have a conversation. Drives me nuts. I back up and they come forward.

:astonished:
