I just took a small dose of Klonopin and it’s not really helping stabilizing my moods.
It’s actually making me feel weird.
Like I’m a bit drugged up.
This is why I hate taking benzos.
Ativan made me hallucinate at high doses.
I was injected with it at the hospital.
What dose are you taking ?
0.5mg made me feel drugged up and sleepy the first time I took it. I had to split the pill.
Unfortunately the more you use it the less effect it has.
I don’t think it has any mood stabilizer properties though.
Be careful with Benzos. I got addicted to Ativan and the withdrawal process was living hell. They should only be used in the shorterm.
I can only tolerate small doses of Klonopin.
I’m highly sensitive to benzos.
I took less than 0.25 mg.
I take 1mg of Klonopin a day and have good results. 
The county mental health I go to doesn’t allow benzos for anyone
Klonopin has weak mood stabilizing properties but it does nothing for me except make me feel strange.
It’s considered an anticonvulsant.
I’m actually feeling more anxious after taking it!
Yes my psychiatrist prescribed it as a PRN too.
For whenever my manias become hard to control.

No I was feeling a bit revved up earlier, maybe some hypomania but I think that the Klonopin is actually doing something now.

benzos made me extremely suicidal over time. took like over a year plus antidepressants to get better
my pdoc offered me valiums for mania but i didnt want to take them cuz I was unsure of if Id get addicted to them.
can you take them for a week or 2 and not get withdrawals if you stop after?
I’ll take some Klonopin only in emergency situations like today when I couldn’t calm down.
I don’t plan on taking it on a daily basis over a long time.
Only as needed.
I wish that Benzos would help negative symptoms but I think they do the opposite

I don’t know your background but lithium + lamictal have helped me to keep me away from mania…
I also have a antidepressant to treat my depression.
I have important mood disorders in addition to schizophrenia symptoms.
Klonopin is forbidden here. Benzos can help but sparingly. (that’s just an opinion.)
i have lorazepam as a PRN but i hardly ever take it anymore
I always dissovled my klonopin in my mouth and I’d feel it hit me. I had a break with reality when I came off it cold turkey though.
